I love fall, but I don't love how most fall fragrances/flavors are so overpowering and sickly sweet, with weird powdery notes that inflame my allergies (I basically cannot walk in front of the open doors of a Bath and Body Works between October and December). THIS, however...it's a revelation. And a revolution? Like all of Allison's scents, there's nothing noxious going on here. It's like a memory plucked from my Balkan grandmother's kitchen, though it most decidedly smells like (really good) soap, not soap trying to masquerade as a cookie. Does that mean I didn't lick it anyway? No, it does not.
