Dish Soap Block: Solid Eco-friendly Alternative
Forget plastic bottles! This bar soap is designed especially for dishes. Blocks can be used with a sponge or brush. To extend life of soap, rub gently rather than scrape too much. Biodegradable and safe for septic or outdoor use.
To use: rub sponge or brush on block to create some suds. To soak a container, like a greasy pot with stuck-on food, run the block under the faucet so soapy water flows directly.
Ingredients: coconut oil, soy wax, water, and lye, vegan sugar. Scented options contain essential oils.
Size: giant 11.5 ounce block, about 3 inch cube hand cut, so rough edges are natural. It's not glamorous, but it works!
Keep dry between use to prolong life of block. Will wash for several months with regular use.
I love this dish soap bar! I’ve dreaded typical dish soaps for a long time, and was so thankful when these came out!! We’ve gone through a few of them now, and they’re so easy to use. Paired with a soap dish, they sit perfectly at the edge of our sink. They’re great for making a sink full of suds to tackle the toughest dishes, and easy enough for a quick wash. And the block is significant enough to last a good while!
This is a great alternative to the usual liquid dish soap. It cleans well, and there is no plastic waste.
